Behind The Blinds

My first post so bear with me.  The Roots newest studio LP How I Got Over came out today and i took my first day of summer to check it out and i was not disappointed at all. Its a mostly mellow and somber album and not as dark as their previous album, Rising Down.  The overall message of the album is hope, an you definitely feel it after listening to it.  Standout tracks are Dear God 2.0 featuring Monsters of Folk (interesting mix, but it works well), The Fire featuring John Legend, Now or Never, and the title track How I Got Over.  Overall 4/5 stars because while it was a great album it didnt blow me away. Enjoy and ill post a song or two i like in a little while.
